2012 ASHA Convention – Try This Out
So you are going to the 2012 Atlanta ASHA Convention? Yes? Yes!
Besides all of the amazing things on the program to do (check it out), there may come a time you want to venture outside the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC). If you have never been to Atlanta, frequent only the convention centers and hotels, and/or you are a local here in the lovely ATL, may I make a ”#ASHA12 things-to-do” recommendation…
A unique restaurant and bar located 2.6 miles from the GWCC. It has a unique atmosphere but fun catch – all the tables have different games to be played. You can try your hand at Uno, Apples-to-Apples, Jenga, Life, and other easy-to-play board games. There are also darts, shuffleboard, pool tables and two indoor bocce ball courts downstairs.
Check out the food menu and beer menu before you go; prices for both are a little high but it is a fun environment if you are willing to try it out. It can get a little crowded during the later hours of the night, so be warned; they are open late (3:00 a.m.) during the entire ASHA Convention.
Address: 1170 Howell Mill Rd.Atlanta Ga. 30318
Phone: 404.968.2033
Hours: Mon-Fri 11:00am to 3:00 am; Saturday Noon to 3:00am

**I am not being paid for this recommendation; only sharing some ATL knowledge for those venturing to the 2012 ATL ASHA Convention**:)
